Quick Start After the Website Launches
To get the most out of the new website:
- Log in or create your SOS Account
- Verify your contact information under My Account
- Upload any training certificates not shown under My SOS Training
- Explore available resources and downloads under Additional Resources (For SOS Trained Therapists Only)
- Update your free SOS Referral Listing (For SOS Trained Therapists Only)
General Information
When did the new website launch?
The new website launched on July 1st.
SOS Account Access
Do I need to create a new SOS Account?
Not always—you may already have one.
- To check to see if you have an existing SOS Account, please go to https://sosfeedingdev.wpenginepowered.com/register/
- Enter your email address
- If your email is recognized, simply log in
- If not, you’ll be prompted to create a new account
- Important: An account on the SOS Online Learning Academy is not the same as an SOS Website Account. Please see additional information below regarding the differences between these two accounts.
How do I check if I have an SOS Account?
Simply visit the Create an Account page and enter your email:
- If your email is recognized, you’ll be prompted to log in.
- If it is not recognized, you’ll be able to create a new account.
What if I forgot my password?
You can use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to reset your password.
SOS Website Account (www.sosapproach.com) vs. SOS Online Learning Academy (https://sosapproachacademy.thinkific.com/) – What is the difference?
SOS Website Account
- Purpose: Manage your SOS account, access SOS resources and purchases
- Includes Profile, downloads, referral listing, training tracking
- Access www.sosapproach.com
SOS Online Learning Academy
- Purpose: Access online training courses and learning content
- Includes Hybrid Training Course – Online Segment, Advanced Workshops, Video Reference Libraries
- Access https://sosapproach-academy.thinkific.com/
Do I need both accounts?
Yes—having both allows you to:
- Access exclusive therapist resources on the website
- Participate in training and workshops on the SOS Online Learning Academy Account Features & Functionality
What can I do in my SOS Account?
From your My SOS Dashboard, you can:
- Update email, password, and contact details under My Account
- Track training progress and upload certificates under My SOS Training
- Access newly purchased Advanced Workshops and Video Reference Library Topics under My SOS Training
- View orders and registrations under Orders and Registrations
- Download digital purchases such as SOS Handouts and SOS Administrative Protocols and Forms, Parent/Caregiver Libraries and The Great Food Explorer Music under Purchased Downloads
- Join or update your free listing under Referral Listing (For SOS Trained Therapists Only).
- Access exclusive SOS Trained Therapist only resources including the option to download free SOS Presentations, the free Feeding Steps Newsletters – current and archives and the free SOS Therapy Handouts under Additional Resources
Where can I find my training information?
Your training details are available under My SOS Training, where you can:
- Track your training progress
- Upload certificates of completion
- Access eligible training content
Will my previously purchased Advanced Workshops appear under the My SOS Training?
Important: No, only newly purchased Advanced Workshops will appear in under My SOS Training. However, you can still upload your certificates of completion from the past Advanced Workshops that you completed.
What are Additional Resources under the My SOS Account?
Available to SOS Trained Therapists, these FREE additional resources include:
- Feeding Steps newsletters (current and archived)
- Helpful therapy handouts to support your use of the SOS Approach to Feeding program
- Downloadable SOS Presentations created by Dr. Toomey
Referral Listing
What is the SOS Referral List?
The SOS Referral List is a free resource that helps families and caregivers find SOS Trained Therapists. SOS Trained Therapists can join the SOS Referral List and provide their contact information so families and caregivers can access the therapy services from the SOS Trained Therapist.
What’s new with the SOS Referral List?
The enhanced version includes:
- The ability to add and update your own listing.
- The new option is to add up to three different locations for those that provide therapy in multiple locations.
- A map-based search experience for families to easily locate the SOS Trained Therapists nearest to them.
How do I join or update my listing?
You can manage your listing directly within your SOS Account under the Referral Listing section.
Downloads & Purchases
Where can I access my purchased materials?
Digital purchases made after July 1, 2026, are available in your account under Purchased Downloads, including:
- SOS Handouts
- Administrative Protocols & Forms
- Parent/Caregiver Libraries
- The Great Food Explorer Music
Can I re-download older purchases?
Availability to download your purchased items under Purchased Downloads may vary depending on when you purchased the item. Only those purchases made on July 1, 2026 and later, will be
available under the Purchased Downloads. If you need assistance with a previous purchase, please Contact Us for help.
Troubleshooting & Support
What if I experience issues after launch?
As with any new website launch, you may experience:
- Temporary login or access issues
- Delays in updated account information appearing
- Minor display or functionality adjustments
